Life Center

life CenterWe all long for love and acceptance. The Scripture declares and life reminds us that we all fall short of the glory of God. However, in spite of our fall, Jesus through his teaching and action, particularly through the Cross, demonstrates to us that we have always been loved by our eternally loving Heavenly Father.

Problem graphic2Have you ever wondered why things like brutality, abuse, hatred, rape, murder and war, exist in our world?  Are people just sick, or deluded?  Are they simply not living up to their potential?  Actually, the Bible reveals that the problem is far more serious than the answers that many secular psychologists and sociologists give for why our world is such a brutal and deadly place.  The Bible teaches that all people from birth are sinners by their very nature.  It is our sin nature that causes us to brutalize one another; and creates a world where evil happens on a daily basis.  To find NewLife, we must first acknowledge who we are and what we have done personally; to recognize that we too are sinners, deserving of God’s judgment for the sins we have personally committed.  (Romans 3:11-12; 23)

Penalty Graphic2We wouldn’t think too much of a judge who simply allowed a convicted felon to go free simply because after committing the crime the criminal sought to be a good person.  When a crime has been committed we expect the guilty party to be brought to justice and answer for what he or she has done.  It’s the same way with God, being holy, he must judge sin since he is himself the judge of the whole earth.  In America, the law most often prescribes that one lose his or her freedom; but God’s Law demands an even more severe punishment, namely, eternal death.  (Romans 6:23)

Provision Graphic2Although, we deserve what the Law demands, God loved you and me so much that he sent his eternal beloved Son, Jesus into the world to become a man so that he might take our place on the cross.  He took the punishment that should have been ours; died in agony and on the third day he came back to life.  (John 3:16)

Promise Graphic2By the death and resurrection of Jesus, God promises to all who will place their complete trust in Christ, forgiveness, hope, heaven and sonship!  Won’t you repent and trust Christ today?  If you do, God promises to give you a “Fresh Start and a New Beginning”!  (John 1:12; 2 Corinthians 5:17)
